What We Do – Simple, compliant engagement

Rowley Patrick was established in 2002 to design, implement and manage systems that enable companies to compliantly and effortlessly engage contractors and other personnel.

Our legally tested model simplifies the administrative and statutory obligations of both the company and individual contractors, to deliver the core objectives of the business and reward individuals working in the business as integral stakeholders.

Our objective is to provide the best outcome for all parties, ensuring security and enhanced profitability by:

  • designing contractor and personnel engagement models for businesses, individuals and new sites based on company aims and outcomes
  • ensuring the compliance, efficiency and security of current contractor relationships
  • designing and facilitating transition from employment to contractual relationships
  • maintaining the skill set and institutional memory of the older workforce (‘grey army’)
  • risk assessment for current arrangements including potential deemed employment (use of ABNs by contractors etc)

Why we do it

The Australian workforce is more sophisticated than it was when our employment system evolved. In general, it still treats all personnel the same – but not everyone is the same and all participants should be allowed to have choice in the structure of their relationships. Rowley Patrick designs models to remove employment clutter, ensure contracting compliance and improve productivity in the business.
